Precedence of Members.

XX. The Official Members of the Legislative

Council shall take precedence of the Unofficial

Members; and among themselves shall take precedence

as We may specially assign, and, in default

thereof, first the ex officio Members, in the order

in which their office are mentioned, then other

Official Members and then all Unofficial Members in

the order provided by the following rules :-

1. All Members of the Legislatŝve

Council who are also Members of the

Executive Council shall take precedence

before all Members of the Legislative

Council who are not also Members of the

Executive Council.

2. All Members of the Legislative

Council who are also Members of the

Executive Council shall as between

themselves take precedence according to

their mutual precedence as Members of the

Executive Council.

3. All Members of the Legislative

Council who are not also Members of the

Executive Council shall as between

themselves take precedence according

to the priority of their respective

appointments, or if appointed by or in

pursuance of the same Instrument according

to the order in which they are named

therein: Frovided that any such

Unofficial Member of the Legislative

Council who is re-appointed immediately

on the termination of his term of

office shall as between himself and other
